The Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene is back! It will be on Saturdays while the indoor Dumbo Flea will be on Sundays. The Curated Corner is crossing over to the outdoor location and Racked is the first curator up this weekend. The best jewelry, clothing, furniture vendors and food vendors are back.

Earth Day Expo at Habana Outpost
The Earth Day Expo at Habana Outpost is a chance for the whole family to get started with a healthier, greener lifestyle by offering free activities all can enjoy. There will be eco-friendly face painting, an eco-fashion show, eco arts, and a Recycled Art Show. See website link for scheduled times.

Tour of Brooklyn Navy Yard
The Brooklyn Historical Society (BHS) and the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation are teaming up to offer tours of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Find out the history and what goes on now behind those walls of what used to be one of the US Navy’s foremost shipbuilding facilities. Please call 718-222-4111 x250 to reserve your seats.

The Brooklyn Bailout
Brooklyn is finally getting its bailout. This event features dirty gospel, to brilliant house to dark techno from King Britt, Twilight Tone, Yusuke Yamamoto, and more. Plus, there will be a fire/ice and end-of-the-world performances by Reverend Billy, The Lady Circus, Josh Kalin, Chika Imagima, Jessi Klien, and more. Proceeds from the event go to support the artists and performers involved as well as Free Arts NYC, a local non-profit serving at-risk children with arts and mentoring programs.
Tonight. Doors open at 9 p.m. $15 before 9:45 p.m., $20 after. Brooklyn Masonic Temple: 317 Clermont Avenue.

“Brooklyn Redrawn” Family Event
Sarah Bostwick from the “Brooklyn Redrawn” exhibit will be on-hand for this hands-on drawing workshop for families. Attendees will be introduced to using line drawing as a way to explore and document the rich architecture of their neighborhoods. No more than twenty children may participate, so please make reservations by calling 718-222-4111 x250.

Egg Hunt at Pierrepont Playground
This is the rescheduled annual Brooklyn Heights Spring Egg Hunt. There will be candy, treats, balloons, and of course, eggs.

BBGD & The Greene Grape Earth Day Celebration
Brownstone Brooklyn Garden District and The Greene Grape are hosting various eco-friendly and fun activities to celebrate Earth Day. There will be seed bombing, an edible plant sale, and wine tasting.

Brooklyn Children’s Museum’s Family Block Party Fundraiser

A.I.R. Gallery’s “NewYorkLoveNotes”

Pratt Area Community Council Earth Day Celebration

  1. im heading out to the flea for the first time this weekend too. i cant believe i havent made it out there yet. but going to a flea market when youre broke isn’t always the most fun.

    plan to go to the free market too and bring a bunch of stuff!!! 🙂
