Picture the Dream
BAM presents “Picture the Dream”, a community art exhibition featuring collages by Brooklyn New York Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents ages 12 and under. BAM partnered with NYCHA to offer free art workshops to young Brooklynites living in local public housing residencies. The young students then created original artwork inspired by Dr. King’s dream of freedom and equality.

The Documentary Bodega Series Presents Up on the Roof
Up on the Roof documents the wonder and dedication involved in pigeon keeping along with the ebullient awkwardness of a neighborhood (Williamsburg) in transition. Director JL Aronson will be present for a discussion following the screening.

Inflatable Sculpture at 3rd Ward
3rd Ward presents Brooklyn’s first air-filled art show, Inflatable Sculpture. For this one-night exhibition, students from 3rd Ward’s Inflatable Sculpture Class will fill 3,000 sq. ft. of space with towering sculptures.There will be free drinks and live music from DJ Tanner.
