Gifted: A Holiday Market
Gifted, an indoor holiday market with 35 vendors, will take place again this Sunday across the street from the regular Brooklyn Flea. Get that unique affordable gift while supporting your neighbors. Among the eclectic gifts are antique and design objects, toys, delicious foodstuffs, handmade dolls and teddy bears, stationery, art, clothing, jewelry, and more. Park Slope Holiday Tree Lighting
Park Slope BID will hold the first annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. There will be carolers, entertainment, refreshments, and Santa Claus. There will also be a reading of Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol” from 7-9 p.m.

Gowanus: A Sense of Place
“Gowanus: A Sense of Place,” an homage to the cityscape highlighting the work of 16 local artists, is having an opening artists’ reception. More than 125 oil paintings, watercolors, photographs and other media will be on sale and nearly all priced between $150 and $1000. Sales from the show will be used to benefit the not-for-profit Conservancy’s programs.

Handmade Holiday Craft Fair
3rd Ward and Brooklyn Based invite you to the Handmade Holiday Craft Fair. Browse the handmade goods and treats of over 50 local artisans, furniture from Brooklyn Kitchen, and Cut Brooklyn knives. There will also be free Gimme coffee, spiked drinks, a costume photobooth, and free workshops in textile design, electronics, and collage. Please bring a food donation for the Food Bank of New York.

Brooklyn Friends School is holding its 29th annual Winter Craft Fair. The event features 45 local artisans selling unique gifts, locally produced food, carnival games, a book fair, and all-day entertainment for children and families. All proceeds benefit the Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School.
