Brooklyn Museum: Ghada Amer
On Saturday, the exhibit “Ghada Amer: Love Has No End” opens at the Brooklyn Museum. The first major U.S. retrospective of the artist’s work will feature pieces from her career as a painter, sculptor, illustrator, performer, garden designer, and installation artist. Original Women Festival at BAX
This weekend, BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange hosts Original Women, a festival of new works by Elizabeth H. Robinson, Mimi Ferraro, Jennica Carmona, and Jessica Carmona-Baez. The evening will feature music, theater, and dance performances. A raffle will take place to benefit the 10th anniversary of the V-Day charities.
