Love playing poker? Love animals, as well? Well here’s an event for you! Play poker and help fundraise for Dog Habitat. It’s a non-profit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and ultimately placing dogs in the right, loving homes. There are two different games that participants can play: Game 1 and Game 2. Game 1 is a $100 buyin ($75 to the pot and $25 to Dog Habitat) and Game 2 is a $50 buyin ($30 to the pot and $10 to Dog Habitat). 2nd Annual 25th Senate District Community Convention
Last year, more than 400 community members attended and offered valuable feedback on topics as far-ranging as school overcrowding, park planning and nightlife concerns. The Brooklyn Flea
The Flea has moved! It is located not only at the former bank at One Hanson, but also at the Fort Greene market. On Saturdays the market will be located at the Fort Greene location and on Sundays you can find the market at One Hanson which is located at the clocktower Art Deco building at Flatbush Ave., across from the Target mall. The Flea features 100 vendors and a great mix of vintage, antiques, jewelry, and food. Saturday & Sunday, April 10 & 11. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free. 176 Lafayette Avenue and 1 Hanson Place, Skylight One Hanson.

Green-Wood Tour of Famous People
visit some of Green-Wood’s most nefarious residents with tour guide Ruth Edebohls. Green-Wood is the final resting place of many famous and heroic people, but some of its deceased denizens have a more blemished reputation. Murderers and the murdered, a sullied adulteress, a famous courtesan, gangsters, con men and schemers lie next to those of a more virtuous disposition. Walk may be hilly and strenuous wear comfortable walking shoes. Advance tickets available. No reservations are necessary. Sunday, April 11. 1 p.m. $10. Meeting inside the main entrance at 25th Street and 5th Avenue at the Gothic Arches, Green-Wood Cemetery.
Animal Art Studio
Young visual artists will make creative pieces featuring their favorite Prospect Park Zoo animals. Meet and observe live animal models and bring masterpieces home to show off to friends and family! Silent Film Series: Cameras & Cats
Buster Keaton stars in The Cameraman, a slapstick romance about a man on a quest to become a newsreel cameraman. Flim Flam Films, a Felix the Cat cartoon short, will also be shown.
