The Bed-Stuy YMCA is hosting their own Splash Week. Participants can learn basic swimming skills and water safety practices as well as the YMCA’s holistic approach to living: combining spirit, mind and body. Adults and kids are welcome to participate! DOT Free Helmet Giveaway
Every year Pratt Institute holds its annual Green Week celebration, promoting green design, sustainable living, and environmentally conscious community. As part of Green Week and for the last three years in a row, student group Envirolution has invited the Department of Transportation to give away FREE bicycle helmets. All are welcome to attend. Tuesday, March 30. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free. Center of Pratt Campus.

Free Mammograms
The American Italian Cancer Foundation and State Senator Martin Golden are going to be offering mammograms at the senators Marine Park office. The mammography screenings are free of charge and take about thirty minutes to complete. Its by appointment only, but that’s a phone call away. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-564-6868.
