Landmarks/Land Use Committee Meeting
This meeting will show a presentation and discussion of a Certificate of Appropriateness application submitted to the Landmarks Preservation Commission for proposed alterations to The Berkeley Carroll School at 181 Lincoln Place, Park Slope Historic District. “Stage and Screen”
Adult Education is a Brooklyn-based monthly lecture series devoted to making useless knowledge somewhat less useless. In January — as awards season gets underway — Adult Education welcomes a panel of presenters to speak on the theme of “Stage and Screen.” Hosted by Charles Star, Patrick Borelli will discuss the oddest headshots and acting resumes from his recent book, Holy Headshot!: A Celebration of America’s Undiscovered Talent. Informational Seminar
There will be a free informational seminar, sponsored by the Urban Homesteading Assistance Board (UHAB), NYC Partnership Housing Development Fund Company, Inc. and Neighborhood Housing Services of East Flatbush, about the 320 Sterling Street Co-op Development in Crown Heights. There are 50 government subsidized Co-op apartments that will be available for purchase in 2010. This event will discuss the application process, layout, and eligibility.
