All proceeds from this auction benefits The North Flatbush Avenue Business Improvement District’s special programming events in the Pacific Street Bears Community Garden for the children of the Park Slope and Prospect Heights neighborhood. ‘Day of Song’
The Montague Street Business Improvement District will host three caroling events with community partners, ringing in the season with a festive ‘day of song.’ Community members are invited to join in the musical fun. Along with caroling, there will be the tree-lighting ceremony sponsored by the Brooklyn Heights Garden Club. Wednesday, December 16. 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. – carolers. 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Grace & Spiritus Chorale and tree lighting. Sirens of Brooklyn 2nd Annual Holiday Benefit Concert
The Sirens of Brooklyn are performing their 2nd Annual Holiday Benefit Concert. This year they are raising money for Women To Women International. Returning are members Courtney Kaiser (of Kaiser Cartel), Cat Martino, Liz Tormes, Greta Gertler and Katie Eastburn and they will be joined by some newcomers as well. The Sirens will join forces to put on a choir concert that will feature music that spans from traditional holiday songs sung in a unique way to classics like excerpts from Benjamin Brittains ‘Ceremony of Carols’ to Yoko Ono. Greene-Hill Co-Op All-Committee Meeting
The Greene-Hill Co-Op will be having its All-Committee meeting which takes the place of their General Meeting, and each committee meets simultaneously for opportunities to combine efforts, ask questions, and collaborate on tasks with other committees about the co-op. Holiday Party/Toy Drive
You’re invited to Council Member Letitia James’ Holiday Party/Toy Drive.
