Community Roundtable with State Senator Daniel Squadron
This will be the first of a series of “Community Roundtable” meetings hosted by the Cobble Hill Association to provide an opportunity for you to meet directly with your elected officials. The first guest will be State Senator Daniel Squadron. This will be an informal meeting where you can discuss any issue or concern directly with Senator Squadron. Monday, November 23. 7:30 p.m. 326 Clinton Street, Christ Church.
Community Board Meeting
Community Board 9 will have a couple of police officers speak at the next public meeting to address community concerns about crime. Inspector Peter Simonetti, Commanding Officer for the 71 Precinct, will address community complaints about guns, shootings, and murders in the district, as well as, crime and drugs on Flatbush Avenue, within Community District 9. Police Officer Daniel Fox, NYPD Youth Service Section, will do a Power Point presentation on gangs and gang related matters. This presentation is an effort to better educate and raise awareness in the community. Tuesday, November 24. 7 p.m. Free. 400 Empire Blvd, Middle School 61 Auditorium.

78th Precinct Council Meeting

Ice Skating At Brooklyn’s Prospect Park
Wollman Rink is opening for skaters on Thanksgiving Day! Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children and senior citizens, and to rent skates, it costs $6.50. Participants can enjoy the rink’s services from this Thursday until March 24th of the following year. All are welcome to enjoy! Thursday, November 26. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Wollman, Rink, Prospect Park.
