The Bell House’s Red + Blue Election Night Party
The Bell House’s Red + Blue Election Night celebration is the way to ring in the new president. Safe-T-Gallery’s The Last Polaroids & Melnikov’s House
Safe-T-Gallery in Dumbo has two shows opening on November 6 and both run through December 13. The big gallery will feature photographer Gail Thacker’s show called “The Last Polaroids.” In the smaller gallery will be painter Saki Kishimoto’s show called “Melnikov’s House.” Opens Thursday, November 6. 12-6 p.m. Safe-T-Gallery, 111 Front Street, Suite 214.

Crown Heights Community Mediation Center’s Leadership Training Institute
Participants can strengthen their leadership skills while working with a diverse group of activists in Crown Heights. The Institute consists of six skill-oriented trainings on topics such as coalition building, community organizing, fundraising and grantwriting, media strategies, networking, and event planning. Participants will also plan a community-wide event addressing a challenge of the neighborhood. The Institute will run over a 6-month period from the middle of January until June. The Brooklyn Power Breakfast is an event for local and small businesses in Brooklyn.
