Ok, saw the police quote, indeed a Latino victim and Latino attackers. They’ve seized surveillance video, so hopefully these punks will spend some time behind bars getting a little of what they dealt.
Ha, East New York! Good one.
Carroll Gardens is a dangerous area.
Great link, thanks DH.
I saw a news report that described both the victim and the attackers as Hispanic. I assumed they were Italian as well (shame on me).
“No description of the gay bashers? ”
Eytalians from the old neighborhhod, what a surprise.
Unfortunately, bashing gays seems to be the new big thing these days. An RC church school in the midwest kicked out a child because the parents are gay. The state AG of Virginia sent a letter to universities that they are not allowed to ban gay discrimination. Prop 8 got passed in Ca. As if this country doesn’t have better things to do than worry about the gender of your partner.

Seems to be a trend these days with news outlets not providing any description of who’s being sought.
it depends on the news source, but in general you are correct.

This laundry place is around the corner from me. The place looks as old on the inside as it does on the outside. But I love it.
