I attended John Dewey in the late 70’s. It was a great learning environment with great teachers on a college like campus. Among my classmates were Jeff Owens (actor), Spike Lee and many anonymous others who did well for themselves. It is sad to know that the dumping of Lafayette High School kids there might lead to Dewey’s demise.
