Hey The What – Havent responded to any of your postings in a while, but I though this AP headline this morning was pretty encouraging. Not saying everything is all roses, but it not all gloom and doom either.
Don’t be stupid. Those numbers are bullshit. Hey brainwashed read this.

Someday this war is gonna end……..
Oh wow — the Standish Arms. I moved to Brooklyn Heights (to Columbia Heights, in fact) the same year that the Watchtower started putting people in there. An obvious condo conversion; should be great. Can’t wait for them to sell the hotel on Clark St. between Hicks and Willow – that’s a fabulous building.
I think since the advent of brownstoner, my productivity level has dropped into the negative territory.
“Productivity” is the least meaningful of all the Fed’s made-up numbers.
BTW, the list of best stores is not up to snuff. Reads a little like “placed” ads. I can think of some great places that would trump the ones listed.
I’ve never seen that sign. Doesn’t this street (Union) have a bike route/path over the bridge?
By that measure, among the walkable places in the Big Apple are Morningside Heights, SoHo, Park Slope and Museum Mile on the Upper East Side.
Yes, Santa, there is such a sign.
Would you actually do as it says?!
