That is the second time in two years that the PO on Empire Blvd. has been robbed. Totally inside jobs, I’d say. Besides that, how smart is it to rob a post office anyway — it’s a federal crime and you get the FBI on you right away.
The helicopters woke me up yesterday morning at about 6 (I live 2 blocks away), so I knew they were looking for somebody. Then when I saw it on TV as I was doing the laundry on Empire Blvd. I knew why they’d made such a fuss — no way would you have all those helicopters, etc., for an “ordinary” crime.
