What does this have to do with Patti Hagen. She may have assets from real estate but certainly not like Mr. Ratner. Is having wealth a crime? Does it make your neighborhood a fair target for destruction by rapacious developers. Seems to be a lack of logic here.
Patti Hagan is already rich due to her real estate holdings and does not need Ratner’s offerings. And Tish relishes her role as an agitator, so much that she would rather “speak truth to power” than deliver for her district. Her behavior has alienated key allies, which means less bacon for her constituents.
“Janella Meeks, the former chief-of-staff to Councilwoman Letitia James – one of the most outspoken opponents of the NBA arena and blocklong residential complex – left her post last Friday to work for Forest City Ratner.”
Didn’t opponents of Atlantic Yard make the argument that the project would not provide minorities with any meaningful jobs?!?! 😉
Who’s next? Patti Hagan and Letitia James?!? Ha!
