Coney Island Rezoning Meeting
Today, a Public Scoping Meeting takes place as part of the complicated Coney Island rezoning process. Public Scoping allows the public to comment on the proposed scope of analysis planned for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. Visit the website to download copies of the Environmental Assessment Statement (EAS), Positive Declaration, and Draft Scope of Work. The documents explain the details of the zoning changes. School Budget Cuts Meeting
Join Bill de Blasio, elected officials, and education advocates for an informational and strategizing session on fighting the school budget cuts. Hear from teachers, students, parents, and others on how the cuts will affect schools. Learn what can be done to reverse them as well as prevent them in the future. BAMart Reception
Tonight, BAMart hosts a reception for the exhibition “Brooklyn Next Art: The Jazz Photographs of Fran Kaufman.” Curated by Danny Simmons, the exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Brooklyn Next music initiative and runs through February 24. Boerum Hill Association Meeting
The Boerum Hill Association holds a meeting tonight to examine quality-of-life issues and to introduce new members.
