Practically every day I look at the public library building in admiration — it is one of my absolute favorite buildings. And then I look across the street at the Richard Meier building, one of the most celebrated architects of our day, and it just does not compare in any way…(although I am a big fan of the Getty museum in LA).
This library has a great collection of old photos of Brooklyn. I was looking for one thing in particular but almost got lost in the process while looking at the rest.
How many times am I going to say it on here: Greenwood Cemetery is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn!
I find this one of the absolute best public libraries I’ve ever been in.
My parents met in this building sometime in 1953!
