  1. That PMFA lady is such a self-righteous scold. I’m agnostic on the dog issue, but I do live in the neighborhood, and I find her perspective on local issues to be nauseatingly suburban. Why doesn’t she move to Westchester and run a homeowners’ association?

  2. Rot, BC. The majority of dogs are not anti-social and the majority of dog owners are quite responsible. It would be nice if we could live in a society of live-and-let-live instead of having to put up with busybodies like PMFA. Children and dogs belong together.

  3. The people who ignore “no dogs allowed” signs are the same ones who fail to scoop poop. And even though that park looked child-free in that picture, children use it pretty much during all daylight hours. The doggies look nice, but even nice doggies can be upset by children’s cries and sudden moves and bite without warning. They don’t belong in a park for children. Team PMFA!

  4. PMFA whinges about dogs frequently and stridently. she is very much anti-dog. a few people use the park in the morning to play fetch with their dogs, i don’t see anyone using it as a doggy toilet bowl.

  5. I never realized that “Pardon Me For Asking” is such an anti-dog person. If people pick up after their dogs and don’t let them pee where the kids play, as any responsible dog owner should, what’s the big deal about letting them run around the baseball / basketball area in the off season.
