Oh right. We can have art for the park condo dwellers but no recreation for the people who live in Brooklyn. This “park” is such a sham – gets more expensive with less to do as each decade passes.
How lovely they will be for those in Manhattan! Maybe the can install asses on them to face Brooklyn since we are not worthy enough to view them here.
It certainly does. Thanks again for the great line.
Hi Biff. Please feel free to spread the word. It does look more like a diving platform than a support for a very pricey waterfall.
8:32, thanks for the morning laugh! I think it’s actually funnier to provide your explanation to tourists. If ok, I would like to borrow that line.
I told at least a dozen tourists that it was a diving platform. Glad to learn of its real use.
More importantly (actually not as important as losing the floating pool, but anyway), thanks Brownstoner for letting us know what this project is. I have been wondering over the past week or so as I’ve viewed it from the Promenade.
actually, they only announced they were HOPING to move it to So Bronx last summer. it was only cofirmed last week.
(I hate “old news” people)
Well, ef me 4:50; 4:01 didn’t know so I told ‘im — 4:41
