Two more passive houses are coming to Brooklyn, both in Bushwick, Curbed reports. Architect Chris Benedict is developing properties at 424 Melrose Street and 803 Knickerbocker Avenue. A passive house meets extremely high standards of air tightness, and requires little in the way of heating or cooling. The architect’s website promises the passive houses won’t cost buyers more than conventional designs.
