‘Places like Red Hook and Bed Stuy have more crime statistically ‘ – you state as fact but where do you come up with these stats. Not disputing per se- but too often people say this or that area is high crime – so how do they state as fact – where is the info from.
***PS Red Hook is part of one of the city’s lowest crime precincts.
Bushwick isn’t that bad. The fact is that many people seem to hope for the worst for that hood. I’m not sure what it is. The amount of snarky comments I have seen about that place since it started gentrifying is bizarre to say the least. Places like Red Hook and Bed Stuy have more crime statistically but all anyone can talk about is the new wine bar openining in those hoods. It’s really very odd.
We didn’t think this was negative picture at all. We thought it was a lovely old industrial building that was just a little worse for the wear.
