UPS is fine. FEDEX sucks. USPS is pretty good.
Also unfair to compare.
The USPS which years ago was required to be self-sufficient but still required to perform services that are money losing and inefficient but demanded by public (and much of it is really subsidizing profit making corporations such as bulk mailers and magazines). FEDEX et al take away much of the profit making operations that USPS provides and of course none of the losing operations that USPS must still provide because required (demanded by public).
USPS for example could save lots by closing rural P.O.s and delivery—- how do you think all those pro-business free-enterprise loving neo-nazi republican congressmen would react to that money saving idea?
DIBS, can’t handle women drivers?? Get off the road!
Women drivers!!!!
And why do I always forget that heading north on 4th Avenue, you can no longer turn on Ashland/Hansen (?) to go around to the Target Garage. WHY do I need to go west on Flatbush (adding more cars to traffic) for a few blocks and then make a right turn???? Who’s brilliant idea was that?
And for goodness sake, remove the meters on the street behind Target, um the ones under the ‘No Standing Sign’
et, unlike cash I think you can take them with you.
DeLepp, when will I need to turn in the clear plastic pumps?
And Union heading East is always a nightmare…AVOID IT!
et, gap will be fixed in time for you to turn in your license as you won’t be able to see over the steering of that big 1979 cadillac coupe de ville with the vinyl roof and opera windows.
all to match those clear plastic pumps
Presumably they are going to put a bike lane in cutting across four lanes and re-route the commerical traffic onto residential streets.
I hope they finally fix the GAP. I have gone around and around and around the circle one too many times trying to scoot over all those lanes, going from Eastern Parkway to Prospect Park West.
