  1. MM, the NY Post writer obviously meant that a high percentage of the student body falls within the poverty level. And, yes, Bed-Stuy still has a lot of poverty. Even you can admit that, so stop with the self-righteousness for once.

  2. DH – I don’t understand why anyone needs a blackberry or anything else that keeps you super connected outside of work. Ugh.

You should see my ancient minimally functional cellphone. Mainly used as a clock.

  3. I’m glad the Bedford High School is doing well, too. At last, some good news about a local school.

That said, the Post writer needs to go back to school. What is a “high poverty” school? The school has poverty? You have to reach a certain level of poverty to attend? Bad phrasing, plus the usual reminders that Bed Stuy is supposedly dirt poor, gritty, etc, etc. *Sigh*

  4. Have the Droid, and its excellent. See side-by-side specs vs. iphone if youre geeky enough (like me). I prefer the squared shape, and even 70’s casio gold button. Some of us don’t want our world just curvy and shiny and cutesy.

  5. It is wonderful to see that BEDFORD is doing so well. I have two family members who currently attend and I hear great things about it. It’s a very small school and the kids are in school NON STOP!!!

    I love it!
