PortSide NewYork at GMD Shipyard
As part of its H2O Arts Series, PortSide NewYork hosts a multimedia book event aboard the tanker Mary Whalen at GMD Shipyard in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The first ever cultural event at the shipyard, Brooklyn’s Gabriel Cohen reads from his third novel The Graving Dock. Beer and food will be served. Photo ID is required for entrance into the Yard. Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. $10. Brooklyn Navy Yard.

PlaNYC Workshop
The Department of Transportation holds a PlaNYC workshop on neighborhood parking in Prospect Heights and Park Slope. Topics of discussion will include management strategies and parking concerns.
