Trees add to property values, and help clean the air.
The dead tree story is completely ridiculous. I checked out the tree this morning. It was, in fact, partly hollow and starting to rot. And guess what people – it’s a tree! It’s not like the city euthanized a healthy dog or anything.
It was funny to watch everyone stop and read the pamphlet some yahoo had taped to the fence in front of the church and get outraged.

FYI – Bay ridge journal and Bay Ridge Rover are two different entities and ironically are on opposite ends on this issue and are having a pissing war right now.
