This is supposed to be a 10 story (Actually will reach 13 because of 2 supposedly empty floors)shit box, on 16th street between 4th and 5th. It has been illegally built from the get go by Mr.’s Katan Radufsky et.al. Notice the guy standing on a ladder with no safety harness. That is nothing compared to some of the things that have already been broght to the DOB’s attention with no responce. If some one in City hall wakes up there is still time to stop it but if not I feel sorry for who ever buys any of these so called Luxury condo’s. See all the other people who are now trying to sue these character’s and there shell LLC’s and LLP’s
I think you are talking about the old Salvation Army building at 5th and 13th that was knocked down this week. I don’t know if the rumors about a Gap going in there are true or not. I do know that they are trying to build a 7 story residential building there — perfectly permissible as part of the downsizing trade-off because it is on a main avenue rather than a side street — and that it is being designed by Jeffrey McKean, who seems like a pretty decent Manhattan architect.

Is this going to be that new kids clothing store? Where they tore down that other building?
Is that the one just below 5th Ave on the southern side? I’ve been watching the cranes at work there recently. I am sure it will be a beauty…not.
182 16th St. off of 5th. Gonna be a lovely 11 story tower…yes, 11!
They were (illegally) vested under the old zoning. Don’t get us started.
dunno
Where is this at?
