Funny! That part of the hood has the most expensive houses, Washington park is a few blocks away from those projects and has houses going for over 3.5 millions ??? move near fulton cheaper and safer!!!

anon 1:03pm again. I’m not justifying the crime. Just think mugging and robberies, etc probably increases during the holiday season and that this particular mugging might not be indicative of overall crime trends in park slope.
The Park Slope mugging sounded scary. But I suspect that crimes of that nature usually goes up during the holidays.
I guess these petty criminals also have wives, girlfriends and kids that they want to buy gifts for. My common sense/sixth sense kicks into full gear around Christmas because it seems people resort to more desperate (even criminal) measures in order to get enough money to buy that holiday gift.
Think my neighbors in PS will have a cow if I painted our townshouse in those colors – we are not on a landmarked block.
