Robert Goldstrom Opening Reception
Today, Underbridge Pictures hosts an opening reception for new work by Brooklyn painter Robert Goldstrom. His third annual exhibition at Underbridge Pictures includes oil paintings of Williamsburgh Savings Bank, Admiral’s Row in Brooklyn Navy Yard, and scenes under the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO. Community Board 6’s holds a Transportation Committee meeting featuring a presentation by representatives from the New York CIty Transit. Topics of discussion will include the ongoing rehabilitation of the Culver Viaduct structure running between 4th Avenue to 2nd Place, the Smith-9th Street Station rehabilitation plans, the NYC Transit response to request for F-express service, and Planned Route Extensions to B61 and B77 for January 2008. ANA Meeting
At tonight’s Albemarle Neighborhood Association meeting, Captain Thomas Gleavy, Executive Officer, 66th Precinct, discusses crime in the community and statistical data regarding the neighborhood. Jive Turkey and Wine Tasting
