DDDB Benefit Concert
Today, Grammy-winning band The Klezmatics take the stage at the Brooklyn Lyceum for a one-night-only benefit concert for Develop Don’t Destroy Brooklyn. They are joined by special guests Kakande and the Demolition String Band. All proceeds will support both the community lawsuit challenging the state’s approval of Forest City Ratner’s Atlantic Yards project and the federal lawsuit seeking to end eminent domain abuse. Food provided by Maria’s Mexican Bistro and Erica’s Rugelach

Newtown Creek Benefit Raffle
Do your interests include hard rock and saving the city’s waterways? Then check out tonight’s raffle at the Diamond bar in Greenpoint. Raffle tickets are $5 a pop and the first prize winner will get two seats at the upcoming Van Halen reunion concert at MSG. Second prize? A $50 tab at the Diamond.
