  1. my L “train blues”

    – horrible new lighting that makes everyone look unflattering.

    – the annoying robotic woman’s voice.

    – seeing the time when the next train is expected to get into the station. weird but i like to be surprised. i hate seeing something like 11 minutes. or even 1.

    – how overcrowded it is.

    – everyone is just trying to outfreak each other on a weekend night.

    – the annoying long style seats where someone can sit with the legs spread and claim they arent taking one seat cuz seats are designated. some people this is the opposite, but i dont. when there are three seats on the old train and two people are sitting on the both sides of one empty seat you can look at them and be like um there’s a seat there, scoot over both of you, cuz well there is a seat there (talking about the orange seats). with the ones on the new trains you see a small space and it’s less possible to squeeze yourself between them.

    – and oh yeah the biggest L train blue is that it services all the lamest areas of manhattan and bk.

  2. Yeah, Bob. I agree. Caroline and Matt’s house definitely prompts the impulse to gloat about PLG’s housing stock! Even these great pics don’t do justice compared to how their place looks in person.

  3. RE: Brownstone Voyeur; this truly gorgeous home is actually one of the SMALLER Lefferts Manor houses. Sorry–I couldn’t resist a bit of gloating about my wonderful neighborhood 🙂

  4. I have noticed a spike in crime in Williamsburg as of late. I read the police blotters now and again and there have been alot of break-ins in and around the northside, which is alarming because it seems stuff like that usually occurs on the southside.
