Leica has announced today it has discontinued its SLR film system (R series).
thank you, I appreciate it.
It is a really nice shot nyurb.
love the juxtaposition of light and clouds.
nyurb, having shot film for thirty years, I see absolutely no reason to go back, except as a learning tool or a specialized item. The only reason I would shoot film today would be in a view camera, and even there there are digital backs, just too expensive for my tastes.
I assume in the above image (which is beautiful, btw), you cranked up the vibrance and saturation. Took you a minute or less? Try doing that in the darkroom.
hey, this is one of mine. This is the opposite of wasder’s photo earlier. Amateaur, point and shoot camera, tweeked on computer. I aspire to shoot with real film one day when I have more time
Beautiful image! Even that hideous Verizon Building can’t ruin that shot!
