As many of you may be aware, we’re going to be running an indoor market in Dumbo on Saturdays and Sundays from January 10 through March 29 (more details here, here and here). We’re looking for someone to manage the market for the entire time. Hours are basically 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. both weekend days. Duties include checking vendors in, facilitating loading/unloading and dealing with any issues or problems that may come up throughout the day. Other than that, there’s a lot of just hanging out. Pay is correspondingly modest. Anyone interested is encouraged to send an email to flea@brownstoner.com with “Market Manager” in the header.

As a general rule, you need to be there. Obviously if there was one day where you needed to step out we could cover, but the point of the job is that someone is always there…
I’d totally do it. Do you have to stay there the whole time? Or can you leave for an hour or two?
