The space at 216 Smith Street, which was once home to Valentina’s Laundromat, is now Verde. A sign on the front window says they’re set to open on Monday, April 5. The place looks ready to go—orchids on the front tables, pendant lamps hanging over the bar and a flat-screen TV behind it, and four beers on tap, which appeared to include Peroni, Guinness, Stella, and something from Brooklyn Brewery. Anybody know what type of food they’re going to serve? GMAP
I lost intrest as soon as I read flat screen TV.
