430 7th Avenue, formerly home to Bird’s South Slope boutique, will house a nail salon and spa, according to the sign in the window. Bird, meanwhile, moved to a busier spot on 316 5th Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets, not to mention opening the new Grand Street shop any day. GMAP

  1. actually I forgot about Mazzotti music. They’re closed on mondays which seems to be the day I always want to buy stuff so I never end up going. Never heard of Fried Guitars, i’ll check it out.

HEY, not sure whether to take this as an insult or a compliment.

    Are you saying…
I look really good and it’s nice that I have many options to go to for tweaking.
    or
I look bad and it’s a good thing that all these options are available to me and I better take advantage of them.

  3. I agree Santa…it’s nice to live in a neighborhood where you really can find just about anything you want within walking distance.

Living in Park Slope makes it easy to shop local.

The guitar store is a nice idea…I’ve been wanting to buy one and teach myself…
