little-d-park-slope-0109.jpgThree-year-old Little Dishes Eatery is up for sale, according to a post on Gowanus Lounge. The 7th Avenue spot, called “the sort of restaurant any neighborhood would be happy to call its own,” by the New York Times, is asking $220,000 or $350,000, depending which part of the listing you’re looking at.

  1. This is a fabulous restaurant and I urge everyone to visit and help them stick it out. They not only have interesting and tasty dishes but genuinely friendly and prompt, excellent service. Brunch has a wait every weekend, and dinners are often full – I think if anything the issue is currently that it’s too cold to be at capacity, since the garden is almost as many (or more?) seats than the main restaurant.

  2. The owner’s are friends of friends of mine. When I saw the listing last summer, I asked them what was up. The owners said that even though the resto was as popular as they could have hoped, they were still barely making any money. But they cautioned that the listing was merely a due diligence move, that they had no immediate plans to sell. Let’s hope they hang in there. The food has been great every time I’ve been there. I don’t live in that nabe, but it’s gotta be one of the best restos over there, non?

  3. This is sad. This is a great restaurant. As for location being bad, then why was this place packed every time we went there, Troll? I see far more empty seats in some Park Slope restaurants.
