On Saturday, the owners of Abilene in Carroll Gardens officially opened this new spot on 3rd Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets (just across the street from the combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell). Like its big sister bar, Lowlands has plenty of seating, kitschy decor, and a laid-back vibe. It’s also got some picnic tables in its spacious backyard and short menu of sandwiches provided by Luscious Food. GMAP
Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, AND Dunkin Donuts. Truly a culinary hat-trick.
Luscious Food provides food for a variety of bars, then, as I know they prepare food for two other places. They are quite skilled at turning ordinary ingredients into something delicious and artisanal without being too precious about it.
