Most of the retail news along Myrtle Avenue over the past couple years has been strictly of the gentrifying sort: restaurants, wine shops, boutiques. Which is why we were a little surprised to see this decidedly un-upscale laundromat announcing its grand opening at the corner of Myrtle and Hall. Word is that the proprietors are the former owners of the Chinese restaurant that used to occupy the space. GMAP

  1. such a shame dragon garden closed down…

used to be the best sweet and sour chicken around.

and the woman was so nice and sweet too (not sour)..

    hopefully she’s still around.

  2. I bet the people who rent the apts next to it are happy. Shorter walk to laundromat. It is a service and its good to have besides new restaurants and stores. Lets not forget that not all the renters are blessed with washer & dryer in the unit.
