Streetlevel: 84 Front Street Goes Postal

In its recap of last week’s Community Board 2 meeting, the Brooklyn Heights Blog reported that the U.S. Postal Service would be opening an “automated postal center” at 85 Front Street in Dumbo. That can’t be right, though, since that address would fall in one of two Two Trees buildings, and the developer says it’s not involved. More likely, we suspect, is that the postal center will taking the space currently under renovation across the street at 84 Front Street. Can anyone confirm? GMAP
