Parking was even harder to find than usual yesterday among the fruit streets of Brooklyn Heights yesterday as several blocks were taken over by the film crew of I Don’t Know How She Does It. The movie stars Sarah Jessica Parker as the Wall Street mom who may or may not have it all as well as Mad Men star Christina Hendricks. We happened to be having lunch at a friend’s house across the street from Plymouth Church School on Hicks Street and were able to snag a few photos above.

Actually, we’re finding the whole production quite interesting– if a but noisy. And we certainly appreciated the thorough cleanup of our street, which I’m sure was done by the production company, not the city. We now have one of the cleanest blocks around.
What is this, Gawkerstone?
They were filming in SoHo a couple weeks ago and it was one of the biggest productions I have ever seen. There were literally dozens of trailers. It is incredible how much money is wasted to make what will obviously be yet another complete piece of shit of a film. Of course, this will be a huge blockbuster because people will want to see Christina Hendricks’ rack irrespective of whether the movie is any good or she can act.
