Hopefully it wasn’t something J.McLaughlin said or did…On the heels of the news that the uber-preppy retailer was setting up shop at 218 Hicks Street comes word that the popular flower shop two doors down is pulling up its roots and moving south within The Heights. Its destination: The former Abitare digs at 309 Henry Street between State Street and Atlantic Avenue. Seaport inked a five-year lease for the 1,700-square-foot space, according to the commercial broker on the transaction, Ideal Properties. GMAP

Great flower shop with a very nice variety. Will be sad to see them leave that location, always made the last-minute flower and card buy a breeze.

Good move for Seaport, moves them into the Cobble HIll market and I’m sure they’ll get more space for less money.
But bad news for us neighbors. Such a pretty store. Hope we get someone nice in there to replace them. That’s a sweet stretch of storefronts.
