Well, PY was definitely hopping when I passed by there about half an hour ago. The tables were full and folks were milling about on the sidewalk out front. I’m gonna give them a few days to find their groove and then give them a whirl.
Touche, Mrs. Chicken (and really, it is the one thing that grosses me out – I wouldn’t go near them). In any case, how were the lumpia?
Cendrillon was delicious, the atmosphere cozy, and the owners so friendly. Can’t wait to trek over to Ditmas Park for hopefully more of the same.
ok ok Tamarind Shrimp it is! I guess I am just not into bibimbap and having it cold just doesn’t sound appetizing to me.
Kens, that menu is sounding pretty darn good to me. Mind you, I’ve not eaten for 4 hours…
The menu sounded good to me:
– Tamarind Shrimp with caramelized onions & toasted mustard seeds
– Balinese duck leg or Bebek Betutu
– homemade sausage, air-dried beef (tapa) and achuete-cured pork (tocino).
– classic Korean tofu soup
– pa jun (Korean pancakes) and kimchee
– cold bibimbap
– Korean meatballs that Romy plans to make into sliders…
Bring it!
amen Snark, on both accounts. Just saw the menu and it’s not sounding too exciting for me.
I’m seriously looking forward to trying this place very soon.
After all of this anticipation, they’d better not suck.
Now can we get a decent diner out here, please?
bupe – we don’t eat our own….
