It’s like Queen for a Day: Home Edition. The $pruce Up Your Home contest has you upload a photo of your home and explain why it’s spruce-worthy. The specialty materials company Rohm and Haas (paint, window caulking, roofing) and the Arbor Day Foundation will provide $20,000 for the winner, including an $8,000 home improvement gift card and a new exterior home paint job. First place winners get just the paint job. Winning homes will be unveiled on National Arbor Day: April 29, 2009, if you can wait that long.
