Spend the day outdoors embracing the environment with the annual Earth Day celebration in Prospect Park.
The day of earth-friendly fun will take place on Sunday, April 28 with activities throughout the park. Head to the Audubon Center for a range of activities for all ages. You can get some fishing lessons, help clean up the lakeshore and test your bird knowledge. If you want a bit of history with your outdoor fun, there are several walking tours, which will guide you through the park looking at the art, architecture and hidden treasures of Brooklyn’s back yard. For some hands-on history, stop by the Lefferts Historic House for a 19th century style wash day.
For full details on all the activities and to RSVP, head to the Prospect Park Alliance event page here.
