[Btw, pursuant to the cost efficiencies enacted last November, we no longer pay by the word, and your hourly rate was reduced by 10%. Now, I have to run, my corporate jet to the Bahamas leaves in 30 minutes.]
Working here third shift here is much like working it with the people in Chennai. It’s like being back in Jersey City all over again: the lights of Manhattan beckoning from afar, and all of Harborside is closed and dark save the few, miserly vending machines that sell top ramen, diet coke, and jujubees. Brooklyn take heed: you may congratulate yourselves on avoiding your poor cousin’s fate, but the wheel has not finished spinning. Les jeux, ils ne sont pas faire. (Faisant?) Eh, whatever.
Also, judging solely on leschecal’s labor pains, either I know her in real life, or, even if not, she should be excused for having them — not because breeding is some kind of divine right, just because it is not a rational state — nor should it be because no reason would help push something that large out of — (Here I will edit myself in accordance with corporate policy. After all, if there were no breeders, there would be no nouveau Brooklyn to blog, yes? The gays can only do so much and even if they adopt or surrogate, they don’t ever have to have that odd hormonal shift, which, frankly, science should invent something to counter.)
Just a quick addendum, I am getting paid by the word, yes?
this will be my first time dealing with HR. ha. have yet to have an office job. la dolce vita far niente.

I don’t do coffee. I’ll be happy to supply the Team with herbal tea and honey. I suppose I could also bring in some bagels, but you must bring your own cream cheese. Or maybe Dave can supply the cream cheese if he and the Mexican BF haven’t used it all up!
