  1. “The Chicken’s are moving back to Iceland today . . .”

Dear Chickens, Congratulations on going to Iceland. You wrote that you are moving *back* there, so you must know what is like. I have read that Iceland is a beautiful place and would be fascinated to see it.

Thank you for your post previously about the chateaux in France for sale. I actually forwarded the link to part of my family who are moving to France in a couple of years. They said they didn’t think they could buy a chateau. You wrote something as an answer to me with the link “Park Slope” in the title. (That is smart work with the web!) I was merely trying to be facetious (sp?) about the word “Slope” adding to the value of property, as if France needed any embellishment. Tell people you are moving to Iceland “Slope” and everything will be fine (-ha-ha). I wonder if you will miss Brooklyn. Bonne chance, et bon voyage . . .

  2. DIBS, just read your review for Hibino, sorry the sushi didn’t live up to the hype. And that’s why I only go to one place for sushi.

However, I will try the place Biff recommened yesterday as I think he likes to eat out, and I will trust his taste in food.

  3. We love breakfast for dinner.

Also, I want to let everyone know that it’s April Food Day, a one-day fundraiser to raise money and donations for food banks across America through Feeding America (formerly Second Harvest), a national food bank with 200 member banks across the country.

    Did you know that…

    * One in eight Americans are at risk for hunger?
    * Four million Americans receive assistance from Feeding America each week?
    * Children who are hungry have slower emotional, social and educational development?
    * Millions of elderly Americans go to bed hungry every night?
    * A donation of just ONE DOLLAR will buy 10 pounds of food.

Here is the link for Feeding America:

Please also take the time to take the pledge to Dine In to Fight Childhood Hunger (It’s free!!) and Stouffers will donate $5 to Feeding America on your behalf:
