Okay, donatella, you have convinced me to re-enter the fray of the OT. Naturally, however, I picked a time when everyone has left their office. And a friday. But here goes, that means I don’t have to refresh it like youbemom.com, trying to see what has happened every ten minutes.
1.) Wow, there IS a french pastry shop opening next door to Just Taste It! If they have coffee that opens at 7AM, or even 8AM, that would be amazing.
2.) I am getting really close to asking the guys at Chance 11 if they’d just, for the love of god, start serving iced coffee and offering wifi in the afternoons. And if that iced coffee could be good. Country Diner has iced coffee I think. You know, I really should check this out.
3.) Raif Atelier, rocks. Perhaps not to everyone’s taste, but I really love his work.
4.) DIBS, know of any good camping places in jersey or PA? Want to meet some people at DC somewhere between, preferably somewhere close to public transportation.
And I wonder which song they’re going to play when we go
I hope it’s something quiet and minor and peaceful and slow
When we go out into the ether into the everlasting arms
I hope we don’t have Marley’s chains we forged in life
‘Cause the chains I’ve been hearing now for most of my life
the chains I’ve been hearing now for most of my life.
CHORUS
Did you hear the ’59 sound coming through your grandmother’s radio
Did you hear the rattling chains in the hospital walls
Did you hear the old gospel choir when they came to carry you over
Did you hear your favorite song one last time?
And I wonder were you scared when the metal hit the glass
I was playing a show down the road when your spirit left your body
And they told me on the front lawn, I’m sorry I couldn’t go
But I still know the song and the words and the name and the reasons
And I know cause we were kids and we used to hang
And I know cause we were kids and we used to hang.
CHORUS
Young boys, young girls
Young boys, young girls
Ain’t supposed to die on a Saturday night
Ain’t supposed to die on a Saturday night
Ain’t supposed to die on a Saturday night
Ain’t supposed to die on a Saturday night.
Did you hear the ’59 sound coming through your grandmother’s radio
Did you hear the rattling chains in the hospital walls
Did you hear the old gospel choir when they came to carry you over
Did you hear your favorite song one last time?
For anyone checking the OT this weekend, here is a snort-worthy headline from the NYT Real Estate Section:
…
Study Says Math Deficiencies Increase Foreclosure Risk
By BOB TEDESCHI
Borrowers with poor math skills are found to be three times more likely to go into default.

Enjoy your weekend, all!

quote:
Really? Hmmh. *rob*, have you ever noticed that you lift your pinky up every time you take a sip of liquid?
