  1. Cobble…go to bed woman! LOL

Ok…DJ Snappy reporting again for duty. Since I posted a remake last night, I thought I’d go for another one. Tonight’s song is “Across The Universe.” Originally written by John Lennon and performed by the Beatles, I truly think Fiona Apple did a better job of it. The lyrics are posted below. This link is to the music video, which uses images from the movie “Pleasantville,” the soundtrack on which this song appeared. Tell me what you think of this version tomorrow. Enjoy 🙂

    ———

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind,
    Possessing and caressing me
    Jai guru de va om
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe,
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they
Tumble blindly as they make their way
    Across the universe
    Jai guru deva om
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter, shades of earth are ringing
Through my open ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a
million suns and calls me on and on
    Across the universe
    Jai guru deva om
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world
    Nothing’s gonna change my world

    Jai guru deva
    Jai guru deva
    Jai guru deva
    Jai guru deva
    Jai guru deva

  2. Cargar, careful what ya say about Cobble…she’s not too lazy to go over and douse your doggie with pink glitter 🙂 And you know I’d help her! When you get back from your play tonight, you could be in for a big surprise!
