“I had really really long hair at one point, I cut it real short, and I took it home in a bag and kept it for quite a while.”
That seemed to be the idea. It appeared he wanted it for a keepsake. They put the hair into the bag with the utmost seriousness.
I’ll keep High Dive in mind.
