We were flipping through a book by Carole Rifkind called A Field Guide to American Architecture with an architect friend yesterday, admiring the penmanship of the drawings, when our eye was caught by the name of the creek in the description under exhibit 377 on page 264…Then again, what do you expect from a county called Goochland? At least the Chapter title–Age of Enthusiasm–was appropriate! You can’t make this stuff up.
