After starting off on the wrong foot last October, the owners of the down-at-the-heels Lafayette Grocery at 133 Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene went legit and got approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission in March for the changes to the storefront. And what changes they are! The big question now is whether they are planning…
After starting off on the wrong foot last October, the owners of the down-at-the-heels Lafayette Grocery at 133 Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene went legit and got approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission in March for the changes to the storefront. And what changes they are! The big question now is whether they are planning to put back up the original signage. According to one tipster, they are. That certainly jibes with that power cord dangling near the corner.
